Travelling to Cusco/MachuPicchu

Hi Everyone, well, I hope I do blogging justice...this is my first time! I am so excited to be going to Cusco and then on to of course Machu Picchu in June and was wondering if anyone out there has a suggestion for length of stay in Cusco.

I have been reading up on the culture, city, history and I know I will fall in love with the city but I am worried after reading several reviews from Trip Advisor that I should limit my stay as the city has little to offer. Do you think 4 nights is adequate?

Any suggestions on length of stay and your own great experiences in this amazing city would be much appreciated.
